On July 15, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Tunisia to our headquarters in Putzbrunn near Munich. The visit took place as part of the Bayern – Fit for Partnership program, initiated by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by Bayern International in cooperation with energiewaechter GmbH and the German-Tunisian Chamber of Commerce.
The main focus of the visit was the professional exchange on sustainable water and wastewater management – a key topic for international collaboration. We had the opportunity to present our long-standing experience in planning and implementing energy-efficient wastewater treatment plants and innovative process solutions. In particular, we highlighted our BIOWORKS® aeration systems and tailored concepts for aerated lagoon systems and various WWTP configurations.
The delegation members were able to explore technical approaches in areas such as project planning, operational efficiency, and decentralized wastewater treatment. The visit offered a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and discussions around potential future cooperation aimed at strengthening wastewater infrastructure in Tunisia and the wider MENA region.
