Process: Activated sludge plant with extended aeration and floating/ moving fine bubble aeration according to BIOWORKS® design.
The municipal wastewater treatment plant is located 90 km east of Sofia in the province of the same name. The wastewater is discharged to the wastewater treatment plant by a mixed sewer canal.
The mechanical pre-treated water is distributed into two parallel-operated biological lines, which are constructed according the BIOWOKRS®-process – integrated basins for activated sludge basin an clarifier.
