Process: Activated sludge plant with extended aeration and floating/ moving fine bubble aeration according to BIOWORKS® design.
The waste water treatment plant Krugau is located to the south of Berlin, Germany. The initial aeration system was poor with a low efficiency and should be replaced by a more efficient aeration. Therefore the old aeration system was dismantled and the new OXIWORKS®-aeration system have been installed. Additionally OXIRISE®-system was installed for further optimization of maintenance and operating cost.
